Fast and Frugal: Aldi Receipt

1–2 minutes

Welcome back to another Fast and Frugal entry! If you’re not familiar, this is a series where I explore quick grocery runs that last the week (or longer) and feed our small family of four.

This week, we visited Aldi. I will say, for this trip, we didn’t need much. We’re still trying to eat from our pantry to reduce food waste, so many of our meals for the upcoming week will be supplemented by the following ingredients:

I’ve always loved Aldi, especially for the treats they have besides food! I always end up grabbing something for my dog before I drive home.

Love these lists! I’m getting the sense that you’re more of an ingredient household – is cooking a family effort in your home, then?

You may be onto something. I’m not a big pre-packaged snacker so most of the snacks we buy are for the kids.

Cooking is actually fairly low effort! We’ve gotten in a good rhythm in our household so a bulk of the meal prep happens Sunday.
